A new Performics study and infographic shows how Social Media is becoming a more common tool for people to engage with family, friends and brands.
Performance marketing firm, Performics have released a study that shows how 2000 Americans interact with social media and brands using social media on a day to day basis. Some key takeaways from this show that if a brand was to engage with its customer on a more frequent basis, the customer would be more likely to engage back. It also shows some of the numbers on how consumers engage with brands:
– A third of participants were likely to respond to brand offers when they had been re-posted by a friend
– 44% of people will engage with branded content that contains pictures
– 40% will engage with brands status updates
– 37% will engage with a brands videos
